Opening the blinds.

When you are done you are home.

When you stop saying:

Let me explain.

Listen to me once.

I didn’t do it.

I was just trying to…

And you allow them to carry on with there assumptions. You are done and you are home.

When you stop seeking yes for everything.

Do I look good?

Do you think I gained weight?

Do you think it’s going to work?

Do you think I can…

You are done and you are home.

When lack of company doesn’t bother you and isolation is not loneliness but solitude.

When their comments don’t bother you.

When you start processing your thoughts.

When you can keep your head high while walking through rejections.

When you dare to say no while you are being compelled to say yes and you have no regrets.

You are done and you are home.

When you stop clarifying,

begging,

pleasing someone to stay, understand and give you a chance.

When you stop searching for a home in people and seek it within you are done and you are at home.

When you embrace the way you look.

When you start addressing your choices as your decisions.

When failing is a stepping stone not a matter of shame.

When you dare to move on from your guilt.

When you are looking for respect instead of attention.

When you have learnt to live in present without pining for the past and fearing future.

When you are over the theories of you complete me or I complete you.

When you stop disturbing the pattern of life and start believing in the process and respect the timing.

YOU ARE DONE AND YOU ARE HOME.
